Ally and Edward's love story began when they first crossed paths during their senior year of high school, introduced by a mutual friend. Ally, attending an all-girls school, and Edward, from an all-boys school, officially met at a beloved local tradition: the Hunt Cup horse race. Ally remembers thinking Edward was incredibly cute, but she never imagined their paths would intertwine again.

Fate had other plans. In June of 2016, just after graduating high school, Ally and Edward found themselves in Ocean City, Maryland, celebrating their Senior Week. Though staying 20 blocks apart along the bustling Coastal Highway, they seemed to gravitate toward the same parties. On the night of Ally's 18th birthday, their connection deepened. Surrounded by friends, they watched The Breakfast Club, made pancakes, and sat on the beach to watch the sunrise. That memorable night became the first chapter of their story.

The summer of 2016 solidified their bond, and they decided to take a chance on long-distance love. With Edward heading to Fairfield University and Ally attending Lynchburg College, they faced an eight-hour trip just to see one another in person. But love knows no bounds. Edward, ever determined, braved two shockingly long plane flights and a five-hour connection to visit Ally. While not the wisest financial decision Edward could have made, he believed that no dollar amount nor lengthy journey would keep him away from the person he knew would be the one. In 2017, Ally decided the southern life wasn’t for her and transferred to Towson University, bringing them closer.

Their college years were filled with adventure and devotion. They attended dances and gatherings at Fairfield, cheered for the Ravens, traveled the world, and spent countless hours on trains traveling between Maryland and Connecticut. Through FaceTime calls, late-night study sessions, and unwavering commitment, their love flourished. When the world came to a halt in 2020 due to "the Pandemic that shall not be named," Ally and Edward finally had an extended period together. Despite the uncertainty of the times, it was a cherished chapter of their love story.

By 2022, their lives converged in Annapolis, Maryland. Edward moved there for his role in the Governor's Office, and Ally followed soon after, accepting a job at the U.S. Naval Institute. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams in their favorite city. Together in Annapolis, they spend much of their free time trying new restaurants, going for long walks around the Naval Academy, and exploring as many new places as possible.

On March 2, 2024, Edward planned what Ally thought was just a rainy bar crawl in downtown Annapolis for Edward's brother's birthday. To her surprise, he got down on one knee in the exact spot where they had taken one of their first pictures together during an early date at the U.S. Naval Academy. It was a full-circle moment that marked the beginning of their forever.

Now, as they prepare to say “I do” on November 15th, Ally and Edward can’t wait to celebrate their love story with all of you. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey — we’re so excited to create even more memories together!
